Lochar Mill Riverside Retreat & Lochar Mill Wellness C.I.C. – Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any sessions or experiences at Lochar Mill Riverside Retreat or Lochar Mill Wellness C.I.C.

By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Payment - All bookings must be made online via our Acuity Scheduling system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel your session up to 72 hours before your appointment and receive a full refund.

  • You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment.

  • No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of your session will be charged in full.

Dining Experiences

  • For dining experiences, cancellations or rescheduling are only possible up to 7 days before the booking due to catering costs.

3. Weather Policy We reserve the right to cancel and refund or reschedule your session in extreme weather conditions (e.g., storms or dangerous wind). Please note that rain alone does not qualify as extreme weather.

4. Health and Safety You are responsible for confirming that you and anyone in your party are fit to participate in infrared sauna and/or cold water therapy. If you are unsure, please consult your GP before booking.

Infrared Sauna – Consult Your GP If You:

  • Are taking medication

  • Are under 12 years old

  • Are elderly

  • Have cardiovascular or chronic conditions

Infrared Sauna – Contraindicated For:

  • Pregnancy

  • Haemophilia

  • Fever

  • Insensitivity to heat

  • Alcohol or alcohol abuse

Cold Water Therapy – Not Suitable For Individuals With:

  • Deep vein thrombosis

  • Peripheral vascular disease

  • Pregnancy

  • Severe hypertension

  • Urinary tract infection

  • Fever

  • Cold allergy (cold urticaria)

  • Severe anaemia

  • Tumour

  • Raynaud’s syndrome

  • Uncontrolled seizures

  • Peripheral arterial occlusive disease

  • Pacemaker

  • Unstable angina

  • Recent myocardial infarction

  • Chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS)

  • Exhaustion or burnout

By booking, you confirm that no one in your party has any of the above conditions unless cleared by a medical professional.

5. Use of Facilities & Conduct Guests are expected to treat our facilities, staff, and natural surroundings with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service or end a session early if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.

6. Liability

Lochar Mill Riverside Retreat and Lochar Mill Wellness C.I.C. accepts no liability for any injury, illness, or loss sustained during your visit, unless caused by proven negligence.

7. Privacy & Data All data is stored securely via Acuity and/or Mailchimp. We do not share your personal information with third parties. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
